When DeGhost came on board, MCGLive had 1,578 followers on X and a clear content product; but distribution wasn't keeping pace with the quality of the show. The mandate was simple: grow reach and impressions on X, and make sure MCGLive is visible to the right people.

Audience Research: We started by studying the demographic MCG actually serves. They are traders and investors who consume content as part of an active research process as opposed to passive viewers looking for entertainment.

Competitor Research: We analyzed distribution strategies from other crypto shows and found a clear gap. Most competing livestream accounts posted short, low-context captions. We took the opposite route, creating information-dense formats.

We landed on a format that was information-dense enough to signal credibility and earn bookmarks but lean enough to hold attention in a scroll-heavy environment. In addition to clip distribution and long-form deep dives, DeGhosts partnered with MCGLive to build narratives around some of the biggest conversations happening on CT with the aim of positioning the show as a primary voice in every major discourse.

Chill needed breathing room. The overhead of producing consistent long-form content was eating into the time he needed for research and trading. DeGhosts plugged directly into his existing workflow.

Writing Style Immersion: We studied Chill extensively to mimic his voice, cadence and instincts on the page, ensuring we didn't sound like a typical ghostwriter.

Audience Insights: We identified that his audience uses content for token discovery. We restructured his content to be more thesis-driven and explanatory.

DeGhosts contributed prompt, industry-grade research on request, giving Chill an on-demand research layer he could activate whenever the market demanded it.

When we joined in June 2023, the server had 5,000–7,000 members but lacked consistent moderation and onboarding needed to scale.

Environment & Moderation: Established consistent coverage and enforced rules fairly, keeping the server clean during high-traffic event periods.

Regular Engagement Campaigns: Introduced weekly giveaways and activations tied to fight events and brand milestones.

The community grew to 20,000+ members while maintaining steady engagement. Structured onboarding improved retention and created a cleaner space.
